was always on full throttle while on CW-mode. The RF-Power adjustment was useless and I feared the finals will be knocked out.
I located the diode D234 on the main PCB and removed the cathode end. Then I inserted a 180 kOhm resistor in series with that diode and now the RF-power adjustment works. I can now reduce the carrier power on CW less than 1 Watt.
